Promo spot for Growing Up Hip Hop New York.
We had to prove we could handle a project of this scope in-house. Took some quick 3D animation and sample compositing to convince them to give us the project and not farm it out. Worked on the 3D Rooftop and Helicopter (modeling, animation, texturing, lighting), compositing the talent to the rendered animation. Did some Looks Development to complement the style and tone of the spot and did the final Color Correcting pass after the edit in Davinci Resolve. Used Substance Designer to create and mix some of the textures used in this spot. Blackmagic Fusion was used for keying the talent; Cinema 4D for the 3d work and After Effects for compositing.
